~Backgroud~
Uzumaki Suiren is the mother of Uzumaki Hisao and Uzumaki Umeko. She’s the second wife of Hisao and Umeko’s father. Suiren was born an mute, something which her daughter Umeko later would inherit. Suiren is the daughter of the late Uzumaki clan's leader and sister of the current clan leader. Due her mutism she was never betrothed to prevent her handicap to infect the lineage of other clans. After her teenage lover married the niece of the late fire Daimyo to strengthen the ties between the Uzumaki clan and the fire country, Suiren led a life in silence among her clansmen. She would later marry her old lover after the sudden death of his first wife due an unknown disease, rumour has it she was poisoned when visiting her uncle, the fire Daimyo. A few months after her marriage Suiren discovers being pregnant and would give birth a set of twins. Suiren will live a tranquil life until being murdered when her twins are at the age of seven. She was visiting the Senju clan together with her husband and twins when being caught within an ambush which cost her life.
The kimono was heavily inspired by =Hanatan’s Hanamono designs.
